Lately, I’ve become a crafter…am on a roll making things for Eka. This time, I got myself into making felt xmas ornaments. Once I start, can’t stop until its all out of my system…I think I’m done now!
For a minute, I really got into making small character toys for Eka. Super Sculpey is so fun to work with.
This holiday season, Eka was drunk off candies and gifts…..while I was getting a bit tipsy on champaign and wine.
Art show at Barnsdall Art Park, Oct. 13 - Nov. 13, 2011. It was LELA’s 19th Annual International Arts Festival. It was a huge group show, fortunately I got to show 5 jumbo krokeshi dolls and one painting. Wow, it was really cool.
The new 8” smaller krokeshi dolls for 2012 available at the FLOCKSHOP in Chinatown Los Angeles. $25 retail.
LA LUZ DE JESUS GALLERY : Everything But The Kitschen Sync Vol.14 March 4 -27, 2011
This year, I was fortunate to be part of their annual group show. To be able to show 5 of my paintings was so exciting. Eventhough the show is now over, I still have 4 of the smaller pieces up on their art hall wall for a continued exhibition for about a month. If you’re in the neighborhood, please stop by the WACKO store and check out their gallery. They are really nice people and the store has so much fun stuff!
EKA JOURNAL -15- THE SMILE
At around 2 month old, the smile appeared. This was fun because for the first time, we felt that she was starting to respond intentionally.
