The Black Doll Show @ the William Grant Still Art Center - Dec. 5, 2009 to Feb. 28,2010. If you’re interested in colored dolls, from historic to presently made dolls, this show is for you. There are tons of dolls, from original artwork to doll collector’s collections. I had fun learning about the “topsy turvy” dolls. It first looks like a regular caucasian looking doll but flip her skirt and turn her upside down, tada—-now turns into a black doll. I heard that it was originally made for little caucasian girls to play with.
